It is a hole in the wall restaurant but has a very cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff, and good selection of great tasting food.

The bedt Prime Rib EVER

I love that nothing has really changed. Smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood that's been there for years. The food is delicious. Service is great. I'm very happy that the Colonial House continues to be a staple of one of Norwood's small family businesses

Mixed fare, Ametocan, Italian and seafood. Had the prime rib special tonigjt. Each piece just melts in your mouth. Worthy successor to the Olde Colonial Cafe.

Great ambience. The four meals we had were all tasty (mahi mahi, baked haddock, chix parn, steak tip salad). Would go again.

Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. I had the clam chowder which I enjoyed, also the broiled seafood combo. The stuffed shrimp was okay, as well as the scallops. The haddock was absolutely tasteless and I didn't eat it. I really enjoy a good old fashioned but the one I was served tasted nothing like an old fashioned not to mention it was 11.00 bucks. I wont be returning.

They do a very good job on swordfish kebobs and their prim rib is wonderful. Servuce is always great and friendly. Have beeb going there for years. Highly recommend!

Colonial is a comfortable little neighborhood bar in Norwood that also has a solid menu of classic New England dishes. My favorite is the stuffed baked Lobster!! Food is great, bartenders/wait staff are always friendly, and you can't beat the prices.

Great everything. I love the crispy garlic pizza. My husband goes for the chicken parm. Fun atmosphere too.

I have been here three times in the past couple of weeks. The wait has been long to receive dinner. Last Sunday at 6pm service was great, dinner took 40 minutes to come out and there were only 5 tables. Most times no issues

Great waitresses! Food is not half bad either. It's a bit pricey though and the bartender with black hair is unpleasant and light-handed.

We found colonial house on the i-net looking for a local place. So happy we choose it. The food was great, very fresh and plenty full; reasonably priced. our waitress was cheerful and attentive even though she was busy. Definitely going back before returning to MI.

While on vacation, we were looking for a place to eat between Boston and Providence. Since we're from Iowa, we took a chance on the Colonial House Restaurant and I'm so happy that we did! It's a little off the beaten path, but well worth it! Our waitress was excellent and couldn't have been nicer. She was so attentive and the service was excellent. The food was great, the atmosphere fun and welcoming. We just can't say enough about our visit there. Thank you Colonial House for making us feel so welcome and next time we're on the East coast, we'll definitely be back!

Have been coming here since the 70's and best waitresses, many there since then. Amazing martini and bar style pizza was great!!!
